Since 2008 Commercial Marine Surveying has provided survey inspections and reports pertaining to vessels owned by major river industry operations. The business was started by Terry McDaniel, the primary attending surveyor of the company. Mr. McDaniel has experience in performing barge and boat inspections, damage inspections for scope of repairs and insurance claims, oversight of recovery operations, draft surveys for calculations of product weight, and barge inspections to determine vessel integrity and draft tables. Attending surveyor Alexis McDaniel is the second member of the surveying team. She has experience in performing barge draft surveys to determine product weight and calculate draft tables. She has also attended multiple surveys under Mr. McDaniel, gaining her abilities and expertise in barge work from his direction.
